“I’m very glad we were able to compete at Northfield today, ”Head Coach Scott Moe said. “A number of teams dropped out because of the weather, but thrilled that our players wanted to battle and compete for the final round of the year. Nice to pick up a win in our final event. Can’t say enough about our three Seniors. Their hard work and dedication in the Classroom and on the golf course made a huge impact on our program. They will Graduate knowing they helped post the lowest scoring average in the history of our program. For four consecutive years we posted above a 3.75 cumulative GPA while they were in school. We had some of the toughest conditions we have played in, and they wanted to battle and have their final walk up the 18th hole. Happy to say our three Seniors ripped drives right down the middle, and had a great approach shots to the green. Some Tears were definitely shed, not just by the Seniors, but by friends, family, coaches and teammates waiting on the final hole. Time sure flies, I remember when they were freshmen and playing in their first event. All three seniors played in every competitive match on our top team over their four years, that’s amazing! Thank you Emily, Erin and Sydney for all that provided us over the years. Can’t wait to see what’s next for each of you. ”
