When do the 2022 NHL playoffs start?

The NHL regular season ends Friday, April 29, 2022 (4/29/22). The 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs will start on Monday, May 2, 2022 (5/2/22). The Stanley Cup Finals will take place in mid-June.

How can I stream / watch the 2022 NHL playoffs?

The NHL signed a new TV deal with Disney and Turner Sports this past summer, so the 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs will have a new home. ESPN, ABC, TNT and TBS will all broadcast some NHL games this postseason. That being said, fans can watch all of these games for free via a trial of DirectTV Stream.
