What channel is Oilers Vs. Kings on today? Game 1 TV schedule, live streams, start time for 2022 NHL playoff game

The best player in the NHL meets the best time of the year for hockey. What more can you ask for as an NHL fan?

The Oilers and Kings meet tonight in Game 1 of their first-round series. Edmonton comes in with added pressure. Despite having two of the best hockey players in the world today in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, the team has not won a playoff series since 2017.

Edmonton struggled out of the gate this season, but has completely turned around under Jay Woodcroft. Now, the team looks more poised than ever to overcome the noise and make a deep run in the postseasons.

“We’re all trying to achieve the same goal, Connor, Leon, the other players, the coaching staff trying to be the best we can be so we move the needle,” Woodcroft said before the game.

In their way is a Kings team also eyeing their first playoff series win in a while. Los Angeles has not moved on in the playoffs since they won the Cup back in 2012.

It’s two teams with something to prove, both for different reasons. While the expectation is for the Oilers to handle the Kings with relative ease, you can never doubt any team in the playoffs.
