The Lehigh Acres Kiwanis will hold its Scholarship Golf Tournament next Saturday and a few spots will still remain open if you are looking to take part.
“Not all scrambles are Alike and we promise this one is like no other you’ve ever played in,” organizers said.
The tourney is set for April 23 at Majestic Golf Club.
The Orange Ball Golf Tournament entry fees are $ 260 for a foursome which includes golf, snacks, lunch and prizes. Single player is $ 70 and includes golf, snacks, lunch and prizes. Majestic Golf Club members are $ 55 and include golf, snacks, lunch and prizes. One hole sign is $ 50, two hole signs are $ 75 and extra lunch tickets are $ 25.
Along with Golfers, sponsorships are welcome for the tournament, scramble, and Scholarships.
“Sure we are playing golf and having fun but more importantly, we are providing the funding to fulfill a student’s dream of attending college, learning a trade, and securing an education,” organizers said.
The brochure with the sign up forms for golfers and sponsors is available at www.LehighKiwanis.com/golf-tournament.html or at the Kiwanis Thrift Store in Lehigh Acres.
Those interested can also call Rick Anglickis at 239-851-8901 for more information.
The five levels of tournament sponsors, from $ 1,000 to $ 300, receive a foursome entry along with a sign at the check-in, on the course, and at the Awards Luncheon. Special “Thank you” advertisement will be placed locally the week after the tournament and will be on the Kiwanis website.
Sponsor spots for the food in the morning and snacks on the course at the turn are $ 200 each. These do not include golf but will receive the same advertisement as tournament sponsors.
There are several Scramble Sponsor opportunities for $ 100 for each event, activity or contest on the golf course. They do not include golf. There will be special signs at the location of the activity and recognition at the luncheon. Such sponsors will be included in the special“Thank you” advertisement after the tournament.
New this year are Scholarship Sponsors. Golf is not included but donors will be able to name the Scholarship and specify a major if they want. Such sponsors will be invited to attend the June Scholarship Awards Banquet, sit with their recipient and have a photo taken. They may also attend and be recognized at the tournament luncheon. Scholarship donors will be recognized with special golf signage, appropriate recognition in our printed materials and publications, as well as being featured in a special section on our website. Contributions will be matched by the Kiwanis Foundation and the recipient will be presented with the full amount. Donations range from $ 2,500 to $ 500.
Details on the tournament entry fees, tournament sponsors, scramble sponsors and Scholarship sponsors are available at www.LehighKiwanis.com/golf-tournament.html along with the player entry form and sponsorship form.
