Kanza Malik wins World Women’s Day Cycling Race – Latest News – The Nation

LAHORE – Kanza Malik won the professional race in the World International Women’s Day Cycling Race held here under the aegis of Punjab Cycling Association (PCA) and TDCP.

Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) Punjab Hassan Khawar, accompanied by MPA Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, inaugurated the cycling race. TDCP GM Tauqeer distributed gifts among all the cyclists. Other notables present on the occasion were Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) Secretary Moazzam Khan Klair, Nouman and Nabila.

More than 100 women from across the city participated in the cycling race. Kanza Malik won the professional race followed by Natalia Khan (second) and Mahwish (third). In the general race, Mahwish Naseem stood first, Sneha second and Fatima third.

PCA President Adnan Ehssan Khan, along with Secretary Shahzada Butt, also visited the place to take a special look at the arrangements for the race. Sakhawat Ali Shah, Amjad Nawaz Khan, Farwa Khan, Mahnoor Abid, Hina Kazmi, Maham Tariq, Rumna and Umar Butt played the roles of judges and administration. The PCA chief gave them certificates of appreciation. Moazzam Khan said that in next phase, better competitions will be organized to further strengthen Pakistan women especially in cycling. He also thanked TDCP for its support and hoped they would continue to support cycling in future.
