The Croatian senior men’s national team has won the 2022 Beach Handball World Championships which ended in Greece on Sunday.

“The final match, the only match in which you have nothing to lose, you can only win. Against the Danes it was exactly as we imagined, tough. This time it turned out that the guys reacted excellently, they respected all our plans, we reacted excellently defensively, especially Valentino and Jurić, who got along great and made it easier for our goalkeeper to defend. This is our third title, something we always strive for and I always have the feeling that gold is coming home and we had that feeling throughout the tournament. And all credit to the guys for an excellent game,” said Coach Mladen Paradžik.
