ASU baseball is ready for inaugural Pac-12 Baseball Tournament

Four consecutive losses wasn’t how Arizona State wanted to end the regular season, but the Sun Devils were still able to finish within the top eight teams to qualify for the inaugural Pac-12 Baseball Tournament in Scottsdale.

The good news for ASU is that the team will get a fresh start to the season and will welcome the pressure the tournament brings.

“They’ve responded all year long, when once you think things can’t get worse, they bounce back and play better. I’m hopeful that’s the case based on how we finished up. “These guys have been able to bounce back and we’ve proved people wrong time and time again and hopefully that’ll be the case going into this tournament,” ASU coach Willie Bloomquist said.
