2022 VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED – Le Moyne College Athletics

Syracuse, NY – The 2022 Le Moyne College volleyball team is slated to open its season on Friday, August 26, as the team’s schedule was released on Thursday afternoon.

The 24-match schedule will feature eight home contests, 10 road matches and six contests at neutral sites. The Dolphins will play 12 Northeast-10 Conference matches and 12 non-conference affairs.

The Dolphins will open the season in West Chester, Pennsylvania at West Chester University’s Ram Fest. Their first match of the season will see the Dolphins taking on Millersville University on Friday, August 26. The Dolphins will then take on Goldey-Beacom College directly after. On Sunday, the Dolphins will take on the host Rams and Georgian Court University.

The Dolphins then play their home opener on Tuesday, September 6 against D’Youville University.

The Dolphins then head to Southern Connecticut State University the following weekend. On Friday the 9th, the Dolphins will face Mercy College and the host Owls. On Saturday, the Dolphins will square off against Queens College and Post University.

Following 10 days off, the Dolphins play consecutive home matches. They host Roberts Wesleyan College on the 20th and then will open Northeast-10 Conference action against Southern Connecticut State on the 24th during John ‘Doc’ Joiner Homecoming Weekend.

October starts with the Dolphins on the road for their first four matches of the month. They play at the University of New Haven on the 1st before heading to Western New York to face Daemen University on the 5th. The team wraps up non-conference action at Queens on the 7th before starting a stretch of 10 straight NE10 matches the following day at Adelphi University.

The Dolphins then play three consecutive matches at home. They host The College of Saint Rose on the 11th, Saint Michael’s College on the 14th and Saint Anselm College on the 15th.

The Dolphins alternated road and home matchups to close out the month. After heading to American International College on the 18th, the Dolphins are scheduled to host Assumption University on the 22nd. They visit Pace University on the 25th and then Bentley University comes to town on the 29th.

The Dolphins Trek to New Hampshire to open November and close out the regular season. They play at Southern New Hampshire on Friday the 4th and Franklin Pierce University the following day.

The Northeast-10 Conference Championship will once again feature an eight-team field. The quarterfinals are scheduled for November 10 at the higher seed. The semifinals will take place on November 12 at the highest of the four remaining seeds and the Championship match is slated for November 13 at the same site.
